Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agencies have varied approaches to engaging with business, tracking business contacts, and coordinating business engagement activities with workforce partners. However, in the past, there was not a single source of compiled information about how each VR agency approaches business engagement.
The Job-Driven Vocational Rehabilitation Technical Assistance Center (JDVRTAC) in partnership with the University of Arkansas , devised, designed and created a Business Engagement Compendium to address this gap.
The Business Engagement Compendium is a searchable online database designed to enhance information sharing and networking among VR agency professionals nationwide. The information and data collected in the compendium is compiled from the results of a survey administered to state VR agencies. The compendium provides accessible and updatable information about four key areas:
